Nilesh Sathyanarayanan

Nilesh Sathyanarayanan is a freshman at Skyline High School in Sammamish, WA. He is passionate about achieving sustainability by using an innovative lens. He believes that with focused and dedicated efforts, we can overcome challenges and preserve our planet, making it more livable for our posterity. He joined Sustainability Ambassadors (SA) to galvanize community members to become more aware of community problems and take action while being a leader for the youth and making a tangible impact on the community. To achieve his goal at SA, he is working closely with the City of Sammamish to bring an emphasis on sustainability in the community through projects such as implementing green solutions in municipal buildings. He is also part of the Green Jobs Youth Pathways team, in which he works with his peers to propagate green jobs in the regional workforce for students. To further his global outlook and impact, he is part of the International Learning Team as a member of the India Ambassador Program. The team strives to collaborate and exchange knowledge with community members in India. In his free time, Nilesh enjoys playing the violin and tennis competitively. He aspires to become a tech entrepreneur who innovates sustainable solutions for the community.
