River Clarke, a senior at Lake Washington Tech University through the Running Start program, attended Tesla STEM High School from 9th to 11th grade. He joined the Sustainability Ambassadors in summer 2024, inspired by his 10th grade AP Environmental Science teacher, Mr. Leslie and his Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Design Mr.Bonomo. River plans to study Environmental and Civil Engineering in college, aspiring to become a Civil Engineer or Architect. Outside sustainability, River enjoys soccer, working out, paddle boarding, electrical engineering, web design, 3D modeling, hiking, biking, and building. He founded the Tesla STEM Solar organization to advocate for sustainability within the Lake Washington School District. In his Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Design class, River has led initiatives like Earth Week and created multiple impact projects. His commitment to sustainability and passion for positive change drive him to excel and inspire others to adopt sustainable practices.
