Shivani Reddy

A student at Skyline High School, Shivani is driven by a deep curiosity about the world around her—whether it's the people she meets or the beauty of nature—and this innate curiosity fuels her passion for learning and creating positive change in her community. Actively involved in activities like Skyline Mock Trial and King County Youth Court, she combines her love for advocacy with her talent for writing and public speaking to make a difference.  Inspired by her dad who is an avid home gardener, Shivani helps her family grow more than 50% of the produce they consume right in their own backyard, cultivating a deep appreciation for sustainable living and the connection between food and nature.  A music aficionado, a guitar strummer, and a shower singer, Shivani finds inspiration in music, using it as a creative outlet to express herself and reflect on her experiences. She has a deep appreciation for artists who blend storytelling, social and political commentary, and poetic elements into their music, from legendary groups like The Beatles to contemporary voices like Taylor Swift. Shivani believes in the power of collective action and the incredible change young people can drive. She is eager to leverage the support of communities like Sustainability Ambassadors to advocate for meaningful causes and lead impactful initiatives.
