Soraya Arjomand

Soraya is a sophomore at Bellevue High School who has passion for dance, student government, exploring new cultures, and sustainability. During spring last year, Soraya spoke to the BSD school board to help pass BSD's sustainability policy 6811 which was passed soon after. She is currently in the process of creating her own passion project involving the reutilization of old ballet shoes that cannot be danced in anymore so she can bring forth sustainability into every aspect in her life. Soraya joined Sustainability Ambassadors to learn more about adopting sustainable actions into daily life, and creating a sustainable future in which we can grow and thrive in. Soraya will continue to incorporate sustainability into her every-day activities and cannot wait to see what she can learn from this incredible program.
